Restoration and enhancement

Continuity and contemporaneity

In this project, the past and the present merge into a unique harmony, creating a place that not only celebrates the history of the Riva San Vitale Kilns, but also opens new architectural and cultural horizons, demonstrating that urban regeneration can be both respectful of tradition and pioneering in its vision.

The project aims to preserve the original structural solutions, such as the precarious balances created by the walls and supporting beams, while stability and structural safety will be ensured through the use of an innovative and extraordinary architectural element: a metal structure, a sort of skeleton that will envelop the existing buildings. The result will be a fascinating blend of old and new, in which the old kilns will proudly display the marks of time, while the intriguing metal structure will surround them like a network of opportunities. This fusion of architectural styles and techniques represents a bold and thought-provoking statement on historical continuity and contemporary renewal.
